A Little Bit On The Phoenix Wright Side: Remember that live action version of Ace Attorney being directed by Takashi Miike that we told you about forever ago? Well, now you can get an iPhone app featuring actor Hiroki Narimiya as Phoenix Wright yelling catchphrases from the game. The app is calle “Minna de Igiari!” or “Object Together!” and a Droid version will eventually be released at some point, so don’t be jelly, Droid users. Oh! And the app even has a demo of the Ace Attorney game, which you should totally play if you haven’t already.
The live-action Ace Attorney hits theaters in Japan on February 11th.

First set pics from the Ace Attorney movie being directed by - of all people - Takashi Miike (Ichi The Killer, Audition).

“It is a very light comedy that I am filming now, a court drama, based on a video game, the Nintendo game DS,” Miike told The Huffington Post. The movie hasn’t been officially revealed, but earlier this month, there were rumors that Miike was filming a cinematic version of Ace Attorney, the popular DS courtroom mysteries.
I can’t help but imagine a dark, gritty Phoenix Wright movie involving buckets and buckets of blood.

Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney Crossover Game Announced for 3DS.
Level-5 had their annual “Level-5 Vision” press conference in Tokyo today and announced a Phoenix Wright x Professor Layton crossover which could cause the planet to explode from too much awesomeness. Or not.
