Check Out The LET’S DRAW POKéMON SKETCH BOOK from Our Booth at Too Many Games.
At our Pokémon Fight Club booth at this weekend’s Too Many Games expo, we had a sketch book and asked random people to draw their favorite Pokémon for us. This is just a sample of some of the results.
Don’t forget, Let’s Draw Pokémon Day is in just a few days! Check out letsdrawpokemonday.com for more info!
Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth and drew something! If one of your sketches is in this pic, please leave a comment!

Reminder: We’ll Be Hosting Pokémon Fight Club at the Too Many Games Expo Tomorrow!!!
In case you dudes and dudettes forgot, we’ll be hosting our 3rd Pokémon Fight Club event at the Too Many Games video game expo tomorrow at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Wyomissing, PA (about an hour outside of Philly).
We’ll be giving away some rare Pokémon like Arceus, Spiky-eared Pichu, and a Magmortar, Electivire, and Surfing Pikachu only available from the Wii game. We’ll also have buttloads of Pokémerch to give out through tournaments and raffles.
Oh, and if you bring a GBA with a copy of Ruby or Sapphire, you can snag a Jirachi from the POKéMON BATTLE COLOSSEUM bonus disc.
Tickets are only $10 at the door and there’ll be buttloads of vendors selling rare games and imports as well as artists, cosplayers, tournaments (with prizes!) and musical performances by various chiptune acts.

Pics From Pokémon Fight Club: Round 2.
A little late on this, but here’s some pics from this past Pokémon Fight Club at Level Up. Thanks again to Paul for letting us invade your store and battle our cute little digital monsters to the death.
This month’s Pokémon Fight Club will be held at the Too Many Games convention in Wyomissing, PA on September 19th. We’ll have some pretty sick prizes and raffles and other fun stuff, so be sure to stop by!
Too Many Games Brings Gaming, Chiptunes & More on Sept. 19th!
Too many games? Pfft. As if there’s such a thing.
The Too Many Games expo hits Wyomissing, PA on Saturday, September 19th and there’ll be plenty of nerdistic awesomeness to experienced. There’ll be live music acts including Philly chiptune musicians Animal Style and Chipocrite as well as RO-BEAR, a sick chiptunist from Reading, PA (that’s my hood, yo!) and a gallery of Atari cartridges painted by the Autumn Society. You can also expect plenty of vendors selling hard-to-find retro and import titles as well as some new stuff.
There’ll also be plenty of tournaments & prizes, including a CONDUIT tournament sponsored by NYKO and a Pokémon tournament sponsored by Albotas.com’s very own Pokémon Fight Club and Level Up Video Games & Collectibles!
Since this is only, like, 15 minutes away from my house, I’ll totally be there covering the festivities, keeping the Pokémon tourney in order, and probably spending more money than I should on stuff I don’t need.
Tickets are only $10 and you can hit up Paul at Level Up or TooManyGames.com to pre-register so you can get a T-shirt and early admission, which means you’ll score all the best deals before anyone else.
If you plan on going, let us know in the comments!

Pokémon Fight Club Little Cup Tournament Presented by Albotas.com & Level Up Video Games!
This is pretty short notice, but if you’re not doing anything this Saturday, we’re having our second ever Pokémon Fight Club at Level Up Video Games and Collectibles. The first one was pretty rad (check out the pictures over in this post) and we’re hoping to make this one even better.
If you’re not familiar with what a Little Cup battle is, it’s where 2 trainers go head to head with unevolved Lvl. 5 Pokémon. Hopefully everyone can train a decent team by then and battle for a super rad prize.
We’re also having raffles where you can win some pretty cool stuff and we’ll have lots of other Pokémon related activities like an N64 loaded with Pokémon Snap and a Pikachu VCR loaded with the first Pokémon Movie.
The hotness kicks off at 1pm at Level Up Video Games and Collectibles in Wyomissing, PA.
I can’t take full credit for rad flyer above. I found the original image on FuckYeahAlbuquerque.
Pics from Albotas.com’s Pokémon Fight Club Meet-up at Level Up Video Games & Collectibles.
The first ever Pokémon Fight Club was a blast and a huge success. People came from all over PA to meet new Pokémaniacs, trade, and get their battle on. Also, everyone who showed up got to trade for an Arceus holding a Master Ball - a LEGIT Arceus! None of that Action Replay crap here!
There was also a raffle with some cool Pokémon prizes and the final prize was a Level Up gift card.
Fun times were had, battles were fought, and there was even a dude cosplaying as a Pokémon professor. I battled him (and crushed him) and was impressed that all his Pokémons’ names were shmup references like Ikaruga and Vic Viper.
For anyone in the Berks County/Philly area, if you’re into retro gaming and obscure collectible stuff, Level Up is definitely the place to go. They’ll also be having a Goldeneye 64 tournament next week, so you can bet we’ll be there.
In case you missed out on this one, we’ve started a Pokémon Fight Club Facebook Page where you can stay updated with info on upcoming meet-ups.
Thanks to everyone for coming out and enduring the smoldering heat while cramped in the tiny Level Up shack and big thanks to Paul for putting some awesome prizes in the raffle and for letting us host this thing in his store
Without further ado, here’s the pics in all their hot, sweaty, Pokémony glory.
