When Gordon Met Chell [VIDEO]
What if after Chell escaped Aperture Laboratories at the end of Portal 2 she ran into Gordon Freeman from Half-Life? This fan film by Michael Shanks teams the two silent heroes up for an epic battle against the forces of evil. Watch as they kill things with portals and gravity. For science!

And here’s a sweet poster for the short film:

Weta Workshop Built Valve A Full-Scale, Motion-Detecting ‘Portal' Turret. There Were No Survivors.
Just kidding, no one died. Yet.
Weta Workshop, the New Zealand based prop house most known for their work on the Lord of the Rings movies, gifted Valve this life-size, animatronic, talking, targeting turret from the Portal games.
Lookit.

And here’s a video of the Sentry Turret in motion-detecting action.

I don’t think I’m alone in needing a small army of these for my front yard.

Walt Disney Presents: Portal 2

You Monster, a fan-made Portal 2 hand-drawn animation by Chelsea aka not-quite-normal with some help from her friend baysalt. Loving the 101 Dalmatians look.

A Little Bit on the SteamPortal Side: If Tesla was the art director of Portal, the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device would look like. It was created by DeviantArt user, batman-n-bananas.

Amazing In-Game Portal 2 Marriage Proposal

Gary wanted to ask his lady to marry him, but instead of doing it over a fancy dinner or at the beach, he hired a pair of Portal level designers to make a custom lovey-dovey map and even got Ellen McLain to reprise her role as the voice of GLaDOS. Gary is a smooth criminal.

The video above features cinematic highlights. Click here to watch a full play-through.

This puppet of Wheatley from Portal 2 is in-freaking-credible!!!

This was made by deviantART user TRP-Chan who says:

This demanding little robot has been hogging all my free time pretty much since April. I absolutely loved Portal 2 and as soon as I finished it I knew I had to build myself a Wheatley. Because Wheatley is the best thing ever. This guy’ll be a prop alongside a Chell costume I’ll be wearing.

He’s roughly life-sized at approximately 12 inches across (might be an inch or two short of Wheatley’s real diameter) and works as a puppet, using the hole in his back for access to his controls. His eyeplate and eyelids both move. He also plays 10 quotes from the game.

Do you guys know what this means? It means we’re one Personality Core closer to a live action portal movie!!! Hurry, someone get the guru’s over at the Jim Henson labs to make a bunch more of these, ASAP!

Daily Geekstomization: Custom Chell by nael.
This thing has clearly been marinated and slow roasted to perfection in all types of awesomesauce.
The artist meticulously took a toy female aviator suit, dyed it orange, sewed all the accents on, and even got a t-shirt shop to add the Aperture Science logo. All the facial features were repainted and everything else was made from scratch.
Want.

Outside Aperture" is a fan-made Portal flick that shows Chell’s life after the original ending of Portal. This is 100% magical.
