Saint Seiya  Senki Gets an Ad

Check out the commercial for the upcoming PS3 beat ‘em up, Saint Seiya Senki. I can’t wait to play this game.

Saint Seiya Out 11/23/11
According to Andriasang.com, Dimps’ Saint Seiya game for PS3 will be out in Japan on November 23. That’s way sooner than I expected since the game was only recently announced. I’m betting this one won’t come to the US, which stinks because this game is pricey - ¥7,330. That’s like $96 plus shipping if you’re going to import it! And that’s not to mention the ¥12,580 (about$170) collector’s edition that includes an action figure.

Saint Seiya Still Looks Awesome

Remember that time that they made a Fist of the North Star game and it looked awesome. And then it wasn’t awesome at all? It doesn’t look like we’re going to get screwed like that on Dimps’ new Saint Seiya game. The only thing that looks iffy is the AI. But with a TBA 2011 release date, there’s probably plenty of time to smarten up the bad guys.

Saint Seiya for PS3 Looks Intense

I have a Saint Seiya game for the Famicom. It’s pretty shitty. Saint Seiya Senki, on the other hand, looks like quality 3D beat ‘em up gaming. When I heard that the game would be a beat ‘em up, I assumed the worst and thought it would be another Dynasty Warriors game. Thankfully, this looks a bit closer to God Hand than to a DW adaptation. It’s being handled by Dimps, makers of Street Fighter IV and most Sonic games from the last decade, to name just a few.
