Venom and Sinister Six Spinoff Movies Confirmed
Three days ago I posted 9 thoughts on a superhero movies in a post-Avengers film industry. I touched on how everything needs to be hype now if any other studio wants to compete with Marvel. Funny that three days later, Sony announces Venom and Sinister Six are getting their own spinoff movies.
Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner, Ed Solomon, and Drew Goddardwill work together on overseeing the “developing story over several films” according to Sony. They “have formed a franchise brain trust to expand the universe for the brand and to develop a continuous tone and thread throughout the films,” and the team will be working alongside Marc Webb, and producersAvi Arad and Matt Tolmach.
Kurtzman, Orci, and Solomon will write Venom, with Kurtzman directing. Goddard will write and maybe direct Sinister Six,though I would much rather see him take on Venom since he also did Cabin in the Woods, and that monster would be great to see from Goddard.

DC Comics Illustrations by Eric Dufresne

These awesome grid-type illustrations were created by Eric Dufresne. The geometric style and shapes are used here to create super colorful versions of Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Robin, and Catwoman

Injustice: The More I See of This Game, The More I Need It

Look at this gameplay! Injustice: Gods Among Us is looking better and better with each gameplay video NetherRealm Studios releases.

Here we see Shazam and Flash duke it out, bouncing off of buildings (ridiculous, but fun to watch), air juggling each other, and using the environment as weaponry. I’m really digging each stage’s look, as well as the fluid movements of each character I’ve seen thus far.

April 16 couldn’t come sooner. Here’s to a solid DC Comics game release.

The Greatest Venom Cosplay You’ll Ever See

I honestly don’t think we’ll ever see another Venom cosplay that can top this. Adam Jay of Superhero Photography recently took these photos of a woman being taken over by Marvel’s beloved alien symbiote for a photoshoot, and it’s probably one of the most impressive cosplays I’ve ever seen achieved. The secret of the Venom costume? It’s liquid latex. Check out more photos in the gallery over here, via Superhero Photography’s official site.
