tokidoki have just added plush versions of Bastardino and Prima Donna to their lineup of love-stuffed plush toys. I hope Donutino is the next character to get the full-sized plush treatment. Plastic would be fine too, though. Get ‘em here.

If you’ve been waiting for those tokidoki-branded headphones from SOL REPUBLIC, today’s your day. Both versions are available for for $150 from tokidoki’s web store. The two versions only differ in their graphics. One has a traditional tokidoki design with the brand’s characters and logos all scattered around the headband. The other has a slightly more subtle bandana design. Grab a pair here.
Here’s the first image to pop up featuring the tokidoki-designed headphones from Sol Republic. I’m hoping for a Cactus Pups or Cactus Rocker version.

Maybe I’m way late to the party, but I’ve never heard of “official tattoos.” I’d assume one proficient tattoo artist can trace some vector art just as well as the next. But official tokidoki tattoos are now available at Black Banditz on Melrose Ave. Go get one. Or five.

tokidoki have just released a new set of blindboxes and a new window boxed vinyl toy. The blindbox series is the long awaited Royal Pride, featuring organized crime kittens. There are 100 “gold bucks” hidden in the first shipment, which can be cashed in for a super limited gold painted figure. The vinyl toy is Rudy, a four-legged member of the Punkstar family.
I think I’ll pass on Rudy, but I do want to pick up Lion Papa from the Royal Pride line because he reminds me of Bernie Mac, as well as Hercolino.
For their third series of zipper pulls, tokidoki have just released their Punkstar series of Frenzies. There are 20 to collect - some human, some pups, some cats, one skeleton, and one anthropomorphic amp.

Next week, tokidoki and EDWIN will release a limited edition keychain through Hong Kong’s Weekend Weekly Magazine. To be honest, I don’t know what EDWIN is, but I do know I want that keychain.
It’s not even July yet, but clothing brands are launching their Fall 2012 already, and that includes tokidoki. The ladies made out a bit better that the guys this season. There are plenty of designs that I’d love to have seen on men’s shirts, especially the Hot Tamale one. The men’s cardigan sweater that was in the Fall 2012 preview isn’t for sale yet, but I’ll be picking that one up once it is.
Also, if you spend $75 at tokidoki.it by July 8, you’ll get a free Fourth of July tote bag.
I’ve been waiting for this toy ever since I saw the first drawing of the character. You’ll get your pick of two 6-inch variants of tokidoki’s Cactus Rocker. The regular edition ($25) has red hair while the 400-piece limited version ($40) has a blue ‘do. Both shall shred it up on my tokidoki shelf when they’re released in June.

A Little Bit on the Pride Side: According to Vinyl Pulse, tokidoki will be releasing the full set of Royal Pride figures this May for just under $8 each. There will be ten kitties, two pups, and two chases. My money says one of the chases is a dog holding a ring in its mouth.
A Little Bit on the Truffle Side: Check out tokidoki’s most recent toy, Truffle. The Cactus Friends bunny is available now from the official tokidoki site. It’s about the same size as most other Cactus Friends animals. In other words, it’s not as big as a Sandy figure, but it’s still awesome, especially for under $10.
A Little Bit on the Calendar Side: If you’re like me, you say “Shit if I know” when someone asks you the date. Solve your problems with this tokidoki 2012 calendar. It’s $14. That’s barely over $1 per month.
A Little Bit on the tokidoki Update Side: Today is a good day for tokidoki fans. The Porcino vinyl toy is now available for $13. Plus, they just announced a partnership with Sanrio and 7-Eleven in Hong Kong. 7-Eleven stores will sell eight tokidoki x Hello Kitty mini-figures / zipper pulls this month and next month, six more holiday-related figures, and seven color variants. Like I said, good day.
Albotas Exclusive - More tokidoki x MetroPCS: So a month ago, MetroPCS released a limited edition phone with graphics designed by tokidoki called the M835. Very creative name, I know. This month they’ve released a case for a Samsung phone with Simone’s characters. And it’s not stoping there. We’ve got it on very good authority that at least five more interchangeable backplates will be available for the M835 in the near-ish future. Not only that, but tokidoki-designed cases will be available for several more of the smartphones carried by MetroPCS.
