Spiki The Wolfman From Kusovinyl And Maihiro

This Monday, January 28, Kusovinyl will be releasing the latest edition of their popular Spiki Chisai series, Spiki The Wolfman, for just $15! This 4” vinyl figure is limited to just 500 pieces, and 100 of them are a secret Teen Wolf chase variant! 

Once the initial wave rolls out, a limited edition set of Artist Proofs will be up for grabs over on the Maihiro site.

KusoVinyl and Rotobox will be sharing booth #849 at Anime Expo 2012 where they’ll be releasing their Thundercrap box set based on Nakanari’s Spiki figure. Limited to just 300 sets, each box includes Evil Lion-oh Really, Cheatarah, and Siberian Tigrowl. Out of those 300 sets, 100 of them will contain the Goldigger Cheatarah variant.

Each 3-pack of 4-inch figures will only set you back $45. Not bad considering how limited and completely awesome they are.

The rad dudes from KusoVinyl will have all sorts of freshness up for grabs at SDCC booth #605 including some sweet exclusives. Their first release at the con will be the Fahrenheit Spiki collaboration piece between Rotobox and Mai Hiro, limited to 200 pieces, this 7-inch figure comes with 4 swords, a blackboard, and a mini comic for $65.

The second release is ThunderCraps designed by Rotobox for the Spiki Chisai Artist Series. Each limited edition figure is 4” tall and there’s a special chase version. Only $15.

Spiki creator Tony Nakanari will be available at the KusoVinyl booth throughout the con for signings. Be there or be [ ].

Custom “Kiba” Celsius by Nakanari.

Nakanari knocks it out of the park yet again with this custom Gunmetall Celsius figure, dubbed “Kiba” which means fang. If the design looks a bit familiar, it’s because it’s actually based on Nakanari’s previous Samurai custom for the custom Celsius show at TAG, but this time around he went with white color scheme to go with the “fang” theme.

This dude is seriously one of the fiercest customizers out there with each piece looking like it came from a factory. One day I’ll be able to afford his custom work, but until then, I’m completely happy drooling over pictures on the internet.

Nakanari’s White Lucky Cat Spiki releases on KusoVinyl.com tonight at 9pm WST for just $12! There are only 300 of these in the whole wide world, so $12 is a more than reasonable price. You really have no reason not to get one.

Spikiemon Figure at WonderCon 2011

This Doraemon-inspired Spiki will be available at Kuso Vinyl’s booth at WonderCon 2011 for $15. It’s limited to 400 pieces, with a quarter of those having a special yellow colorway.

KusoPop x Puff Nation x Maihiro Collaboration Tees and Spiki Figure.

KusoPop has teamed up with Vancouver, Canada based streetwear brand Puff Nation Apparels Inc. and Maihiro for a limited set of T-shirt/Spiki figure combo packs.

Puff Nation is kind of a big deal having been worn by superstars like Snoop Dogg and Lil’ Jon, so this is a great collab for KusoPop and Maihiro to be a part of. This set sold out on it’s first day when it was released in Taiwan on Valentine’s day, and they’re hoping to do it big again when they release 40 sets here in the states on 2/22.

Puff nation has used pop artist Tony Nakanari’s Spiki figure as a canvas for their own King Penguin character and the only way to get it is in this pack. They’ll only be $45, so head to www.kusopop.com on 2/22 for a chance to pre-order.

Custom 5” Ninja Spiki Mad*L Drops This Friday.

Nakanari drops the Mad*L hottness yet again (Remember the Hello Skitty one?) and this time he lays down his trademark mystical Spiki ninja character in a slick monochrome color scheme. This one-of-a-kind handpainted piece will be available Friday February 19th 2010 from the Mai Hiro webstore.
