Micro Amigurumi Is So Kawaii
Don’t worry. I dictated that headline in a real manly voice to my secretary. Anyway, I could probably fit five of these little crocheted creatures into my nostril. Which makes them even cuter.

New tokidoki Plushies Now Available
I tried really hard to think of some way to write a hook connecting puppies and cupcakes, but they’re really not that similar, so I’m just going to roll with it. tokidoki have just released their Donutino and Donutina plushies along with the 22” Adios star cushion. The pups are $20 each and the giant pillow is $30 right here.

Android Mini Collectible: Rainbow Set
The observable spectrum will soon be available in Android form. Dead Zebra will release this double decker of translucent Android Minis within the next few weeks online and in stores. Some of these were previously available in Series 2, Big Box Series, and MWC special editions, but several are brand new colors. They come in a sleek magnetic display box. You can even pop off their heads and mix them up for all your color theory blaspheming needs.

Simon Petrikov, Marceline, and Flame Princess Munnys
BRB. Crying forever over how perfect these are. Simon’s backstory is the most gut-wrenchingly sad thing in the Adventure Time universe, and his time spent taking care of a young Marceline the Vampire Queen makes him all the more tragic.
And Flame Princess, yeah, she’s pretty okay too, I guess.
These were done by Shaun Nakasone. Check out more sick work over on his blog, sciuruscustoms.blogspot.com.

Dr. Who Vinyl Series 2
Our friend Matt JOnes, AKA Lunartik, will be releasing his second series of blindbox Dr. Who figures on August 1. There will be four chases and each toy comes with an accessory. Matt’s got 80 APs that he’ll be selling, too, so keep an eye out for those if you’re a hardcore fan.

The Greatest Michael Jordan Action Figure Of All Time
The action figure artisans over at Fool’s Paradise will be opening pre-orders for their handmade “Floating Bull” figure on June 1 at 12:00am (HK time). If action figure versions of the dudes from Daft Punk got it on with an action figure version of Michael Jordan, this would be the baby.
Shipping this October, only fifty of these exist in the whole wide world and they’re being sold for $599 (yikes!), but, like most Fool’s Paradise releases, this is likely to sell out quick and go for crazy eBay prices, so if you REALLY want one, don’t sleep on it.
Custom Toys Inspired by Marvel Superheroes
Ryan McClure a.k.a. RocketBoy Customs sent over these pics of his latest batch of custom toys based on Marvel characters. There’s a 5” Archangel Mad*L complete with wings, a bunch of Hulk Dunnys, a Deadpool Mighty Mugg, and even an Iron-Man made from a Rose Art DIY figure, of all things!
Valkyrie VF-1J Mega Munny from Rotobox
Yes, that’s a transforming Mega Munny up there. Rotobox’s latest custom is their own take on the Valkyrie ships from Macross. The 1982 anime paved the way for thousands of transforming robots. The series is unique because the robots (and this custom) had three transformation stages - the humanoid Battroid mode, the intermediate Gerwalk mode, and the jet-like Fighter mode. It’s impressive when a super articulated Revoltech figure can transform like a Macross mech, so this custom is especially mind-blowing.
Samus and Link Figmas Get Rereleases
I got royally screwed by Entertainment Earth when they couldn’t fulfill my pre-order of the Samus Figma and decided not to tell me until months after the figure was out of production. Same for many of our readers who pre-ordered the Samus and Link figures through our links.
But it’s time to suit up for redemption. Both toys are getting rereleased this fall. They’ll run about $60 each after shipping from Japan is factored in. (The Play-Asia price for the Link figure says $140 but I’m assuming that’s a typo because the Samus and Link figures are the same price on Yes Asia.)
Hit the links below to pre-order - supplies are allegedly pretty limited.

Zone 6 by ESC-Toy
Erick Scarecrow’s done a 180 with this design. His resin toys are usually cute or cartoony. But this one says “fuck that,” rips out your eyeball, and draws a pentagram on its forehead with it. The 8” figure and accessories are limited to 10 sets worldwide for $150. Order one from the resin underworld right here.

Esc-Toy Early May Drop
Erick Scarecrow and Esc-Toy are starting of May with a splash. Mermadi 2 Villainous is a brand new sculpt with an awesome aquatic color scheme. The watery look of the seafoam green resin is pretty amazing. The handpainted toy is $100 and comes with a water-splash accessory. 10% of the proceeds go to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, which is pretty awesome.
There’s also a new Mini Soopa Jr., this time in grape resin. This is probably my favorite colorway so far. There needs to be a transparent purple candy cab in real life. The grape colorway is available for just $20.
Last up is a super limited signed-and-numbered Papa Sama Swordsman gicleé print. It’s printed on a 6-color printer and runs $45. 10% of this ones goes to St. Jude’s as well.
Pick up any of the above toys and print right here.
