Fox Releases ‘The Wolverine’ Trailer

Here’s the International trailer for 20th Century Fox’s upcoming film, The Wolverine. Hugh Jackman reprises his role at Wolverine and we get a glimpse of what’s to come on July 26. Hope it’s good — this trailer sent me mixed vibes. Cool to see Silver Samurai on screen though!

Frankenweenie: Not about Frank’s Weenie

I like Tim Burton, but I don’t usually get too enthusiastic about his stuff. Frankenweenie looks pretty awesome though. It’s actually a remake of a movie he made in the ’80s. Disney ended up firing him because the movie was too weird for kids. It got shelved and wasn’t published until almost ten years later when it got a direct-to-video release. It’s also included on the DVD of Nightmare Before Christmas.

Fun fact: This movie’s been finished for over six months. Disney are just waiting to release it for some BS marketing reasons.

DoDonPachi: Saidaiohjou Gets a Trailer

Cave’s latest shooter hit arcades on Friday and if you’re wondering what it looks like, check out the above video. The big question for me is if this will get a 360 port. On one hand, I doubt it because there is usually a three-year gap between a Cave arcade release and a console port. So this may get ported to a next-gen console. On the other hand, Cave have heavily supported the 360. And if the 360 can handle Dai-Fukkatsu without a problem, it should be able to propertly represent Saidaiohjou.

Localized Ni no Kuni Delayed to 2013

Bad news, Ghibli fans. The English-language version of Level-5’s and Studio Ghibli’s Ni no Kuni has been delayed until sometime next year. You can’t complain too much though. The fact that this game is even getting a localization is a miracle. And as a consolation, you get an awesome trailer.

KoF XIII Keeps Looking Better

After the disappointment of KoF XII, I’m trying pretty hard not to get my hopes up about XIII. Maybe it’s because I’m in a fever-induced daze, but this video is getting me all shweddy.

Hawken Looks Like A Cool Game

I tend to like stylish Japanese Real Robot / Super Robot designs a lot more than this type of utilitarian walking tank stuff, but this game looks pretty fun. Hopefully they change the name though. And hopefully my geriatric PC can run it.

Thor Trailer Leaked: SHIIIIIT

Here it is. Straight outta Comic-Con. Five minutes of pure, unadulterated, sweaty, dirty, muscular, beardy Viking goodness. I am so stoked for this movie and May 2011 is so, so far away. And you better watch all the way to the end for some tasty Destroyer goodness.

Heck YES.

Heck no, as it turns out. As you’d expect, the trailer’s been yanked left, right and centre by Paramount. We’ll try and find another one as quick as we can!
