The Best Art from Magic: The Gathering’s Dark Ascension Set
Following up last week’s post featuring the best art from MTG’s Innistrad set, this week we’re taking a look at even more vampires, demons, ghouls, specters, and zombies - this time, from Dark Ascension.

Dark Ascension is the second of three sets in Magic’s Innistrad block. Set in the plane of Innistrad, the angelic protector Avacyn has gone missing and humans are on the verge of extinction as they’re enslaved and butchered by aristocratic vampires, zombies, patchwork Frankenstein monsters, and other not-so-nice things.
Enjoy a collection of meticulously hand-picked artwork below and be sure to check the artist links. Those dudes & dudettes don’t get nearly enough credit.

Alicia Silverstone And The Chick Who Directed ‘Clueless' Made A Vampire Movie [TRAILER]

Amy Heckerling and Alicia Silverstone join forces once again in Vamps. While Heckerling’s Fast Times At Ridgemont High and Clueless have stood the test of time, Vamps looks severely dated. There’s only this trailer to go on, so there’s a slim chance the actual movie will be a bit better. Krysten Ritter's in it, so at least it has that going for it.

Vamps will show in select theaters on November 2 before hitting Blu-ray on November 13.

'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' As An Arcade Beat-Em-Up

The original title of this video by Freddie Wong and crew is 8-Bitham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, but I’m sick of peeps online making pixelated awesomeness and calling it 8-bit. Clearly, this is 16-bit. I mean, come on, really. Amirite?

Deleted Scene From LET ME IN.

I haven’t seen the original Swedish film LET THE RIGHT ONE IN or read the book, but I had the pleasure of checking out the American version, LET ME IN, and was pretty blown away. One thing I was dying to know and hoping they’d show was how the little girl turns into a vampire in the first place. Well, now I know, and I really think the scene should have been in the movie, but that’s just me.

Director Matt Reeves explains to /Film why this scene didn’t make the cut below.
