This watch is all sorts of amazing. Sanrio and tokidoki continue their collaboration, this time roping in super stylish watchmakers, Nooka. Gotta love the tokidoki-ified Hello Kitty characters. I’m hoping for a tokidoki x Sanrio blindbox series some day.

Vannen’s latest timepiece features everyone’s favorite time-traveling, lip-syncing rock duo Mordecai and The Rigbys from one of the greatest Regular Show episodes of all time. Only 300 of these were made and each one comes hand numbered. As an added bonus, random shipments will include packaging signed and sketched upon by Regular Show creator J.G. Quintel (who we totally interviewed!).
In a further attempt to capitalize on the attention spans and disposable income of the human race, Apple is - according to tech consultant/former Apple employee Bruce Tagnozzini - working on a watch that “will fill a gaping hole in the Apple ecosystem.” He goes on to say “Like other breakthrough Apple products, its value will be underestimated at launch, then grow to have a profound impact on our lives and Apple’s fortunes”
Bloomburg reports that a team of 100 designers are currently developing the watch.
So, like, this better be some videochat watch shit and not just an Apple version of Nike’s FuelBand.
Also, if it does pretty much all the core stuff that we smartphones for, will we still need smartphones?

Buy: Vannen CMYK Key Edition
Vannen recently released the Key edition of their CMYK series of watches. They’re quickly following that up with the Magenta edition which will be released next Tuesday. I’m guessing it will go for $55, the same price as the Key and Cyan ones. Here’s a photo of one of Vannen’s Lucky Bags that contained the new watch.
This killer G-Shock designed by Medicom reminds me of vinyl toys, the time, and confetti cake. It will launch on January 26. Grab it for about $180 if you know your way around Yahoo Japan.

One of the only things I don’t like about TokyoFlash watches is that they’re pretty in-your-face. The Kisai Maru fixes that with some subtle style though. The inner hand points to the hour and the outer hand points to the minute. And the anodized aluminum casing looks like it could take a beating. It comes in black, silver, and sienna for $150.

Here it is. The Key edition of Vannen’s CMYK series. As expected, it looks just like their Cyan watch, but black. Also as expected, it looks sleek. Like a panther. Get one for $55 from Vannen.

It’s been a year since Vannen first launched their CMYK series of watches with the cyan edition, so I was actually assuming that they cancelled the remaining three colors. The black (or key) edition will be out on Wednesday though. No official photos have been posted yet, but I dug up this picture of the straps.
Kojima tweeted pics of the Swarovski Foxhound shirt and Metal Gear Rising ‘Wired’ watch from Seiko designed by MGS series artist Yoji Shinkawa. While the Foxhound tee is a bit too bling-bling for my tastes, that watch is pretty boss.
Fact: Game designer Hideo Kojima is one classy-ass, well-dressed dude.

Teased earlier in the week, here’s a look at the Breaking Bad watch from Vannen designed by Munny & Dunny creator Tristan Eaton. Inspire by “Fly”, the 10th episode from Season 3, the “Contaminant” piece drops Thursday, August 2nd at midnight EST exclusively from VannenWatches.com.
Vannen Watches is teaming up with artist and toy designer Tristan Eaton (he created Kidrobot’s Munny, Dunny, and titular logo character) for a limited edition timepiece based on one of the greatest shows on television. No pics have been released yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
Jaeger-LeCoultre watches have made subtle cameos as part of Bruce Wayne’s wardrobe in several Batman films throughout the years. To honor the release of The Dark Knight Rises, Jaeger-LeCoultre has whipped up a tribute Reverso chronograph similar to the one worn by Christian Bale in Christopher’s epic finale to his Dark Knight trilogy. This tribute piece has an engraved bat logo on the back and you’ll be able to check it out, as well as the one Val Kilmer rocks in Batman Forever, at specialty JLC boutiques in Geneva, London, L.A., and Hong-Kong.
