Man Beats Ocarina of Time in Less Than 20 Minutes

Wow. Just a couple of days ago, a record was set for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time being beat in 19 minutes and 20 seconds. Then speed-runner Cosmo Wright came around within those last couple of days and beat that record by seconds, meaning he beat Ocarina of Time in 19 minutes and 15 seconds.

Wright has been noted to play Ocarina of Time on and off every now and then, but has only recently trained to beat the world record speed. The version in this video is slightly faster than what we’re all used to, but it’s not cheating — he explains all the technical junk here on his blog. Crazy stuff!

Japan Sets World Record for Most Synchronized Dancing Mascots [VIDEO]
Last weekend, 141 costumed mascots in Japan attempted to break the world record for the largest group of synchronized costumed dancing. And they did it! The group, called yuru-kyara, danced to “The Beard Dance,” by joke rock band, The Drifters, in Sasebo. For the group to qualify for the record, all members had to complete the dance with 95% accuracy. The first two tries failed to meet expectations, but the third attempt saw the costumed group succeed, and yuru-kyara broke the previously standing (I have no idea who else attempted this beforehand) Guinness World Record!
